STS-49 Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105, Mission Specialist (MS) Thomas D. Akers, wearing launch and entry suit (LES), takes a brief break from post-landing emergency egress exercises. The training activities were conducted in JSC's Mockup and Integration Laboratory (MAIL) Bldg 9 using the Crew Compartment Trainer (CCT), a mockup of the space shuttle cabin.
